This blog has been revived.

I'd been so engrossed in DotA for the past two months or so that I was willing to sacrifice food and sleep for it. That's only part of the truth though. I was willing to forgo those basic amenities because doing so saved me from an imminent financial crisis. My bank account has been stagnant for the past year, and that of course isn't a very good sign. I was never a spendthrift in the past, always scrimping on food, particularly. But recently, I could go to Fish & Co. one day, and then to Sakae Sushi the next, only feeling the pinch when it was time to update my bank book. When that happened, I'd constantly remind myself that I am but a lowly private who draws a pathetic monthly salary allowance of $450. Make that $449.20, since 80 cents are deducted for the Pioneer magazine which I didn't even sign up for.

Such a scenario may be recurring in the near future. Like, tomorrow.
