We're the ones, the sons of the sea

It's official: I'm in the navy.

No more number 4. No more route march. No more army. It's the hassle-free number 3 from now on. Time used to fold the sleeves of smart 4 can now be used for sleeping.

Speaking of sleeping, that is what I do 75% of the time in camp. Take today for example:

0530 - Wakey wakey (they don't use reveille in the navy but this puerile term)
0545 - Breakfast (by the way, food over at IMOS is good)
0615 - (Supposedly) Area cleaning, but who the hell would do it when it's bookout day?

Therefore...

0615 - Sleep
1100 - Bookout

Cool huh.

Thanks to the schedule, I have finally gained weight. Seems like my two years of national service will resemble a chalet more than anything else.

For those who ended up in SISpec but had wanted a slack vocation, do not be envious. You can laugh at me when you are all fit and muscular while I transform into a full-time pig. Heh.
