I came home after watching "Take the Lead" and secretly hoped for a letter addressed to me. Approval letter, what else?

I think I'd wished hard enough. On the table lay an envelope with the NTU crest on it, accompanied by the words "An exciting new undergraduate experience awaits you inside". My heart skipped a beat. So fast? With trembling fingers I tore it open, unsure of what I would hope to see on the letter itself.

You are not going to believe your eyes. (Well, at least I didn't, initially.)


With my kind of results, I actually managed to get into my first choice. The line which states "... we have been very selective" amused me more than anything else. Erps. I shan't elaborate any further lest they retract the offer, leaving me with absolutely nothing.

At least I won't be having nightmares about selling my life to the SAF. For now.
